Bonjour!
In French this term, Year 3 have learnt how to compare French colours to things they see around them. They learnt about some of the iconic sites of France and their beautiful colours.
The students also wrote their own book in French using comparison.
Year 4s used the story ‘La chenille qui fait des trous’ (‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’) as the basis for their story writing. They created their own stories using different animals and fruits.
In week 9 both Year 3 and Year 4 students were able to share their stories with each other. It was a great opportunity for them to listen and speak French, showing off their written work.
