At Quintilian, I teach Year 6, but previously I have taught all Primary years.
I have been lucky enough to have taught at a variety of schools. While working in Spain, I worked at two different international Montessori schools. In England, I worked at the Orion Primary School in a lower socioeconomic area. The School was voted outstanding and won many awards for its contributions to education.
I was the Numeracy Lead at the school and I wrote and oversaw the implementation of a new curriculum while I was there. I was also part of the wider implementation of the National Centre for Excellent Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) mastery programme across the United Kingdom where I trained as a Professional Development lead.
I am passionate about maths education and developments in education as a whole.
I love watching sports, especially soccer and rugby but my playing days are over. In addition, I love spending time with my family – Perth is a great place to get out and go for an adventure with the children.

I have taught in Scotland prior to being at Quintilian.
I am passionate about painting and drawing. When I had more free time I used to attend evening classes. Now I use it to relax in my spare moments.
I also love running. Now I’m baking more (but not very well!)

I have worked at Mulberry Tree Daycare as a Teacher, Noranda Primary School and now at Quintilian where I have taught for 8 years.
I am passionate about children having a love of learning whilst being in a play-based environment (especially in the early years).
When I am not teaching, you can find me having many fun experiences with my own kids and spending time with family and friends.

I am a mother of two primary aged boys, and when I am not at Quintilian you will find me spending time with my family.

I last taught in Sweden at a school called Castle on the Hill School.
Helping others is a passion, and I volunteer at a high school to work with underprivileged kids who are at risk of dropping out of school. I also cycle to raise money for homeless teenagers with babies.
I have a racing mountain bike called Simply Splendid that I like to ride whenever and wherever I can!
